Students attempting to qualify for a Health Sciences program are admitted into one of the following programs of study:
- Healthcare Assistant certificate
- Healthcare Science certificate
- Interdisciplinary Studies Health Track associate degree
Each of our Health Sciences programs can accommodate only a limited number of students; therefore, students must complete additional requirements to qualify for a particular Health Sciences program.
Our college does not utilize wait lists for competitive admission health sciences programs. Instead, CTC uses a competitive admissions process to admit students into each program. For additional information regarding the competitive admission process, select your program of interest on the Academic Programs page.
New health sciences students should attend New Student Orientation after completing the admissions process. Following their first term, Health Sciences students are encouraged to meet regularly with Health Sciences advisors to ensure they are on track to qualify for their selected program.
Before you commit your time and resources to a healthcare course of study, do your career research. Schedule an appointment with Career Services staff at our Marietta or North Metro campuses on the Office of Career Development page to complete a self-assessment or engage in career exploration and career planning.
