Chattahoochee Tech features an easy-to-navigate admission process for homeschool students.

Applicants who have graduated from a non-regionally accredited homeschool program should complete these steps for admission:

Applicants Who Graduated from a Homeschool in Georgia

  • Apply for admission and pay the $30 non-refundable application fee.
  • Submit annual progress reports or a final transcript for the equivalent of the student’s junior and senior years. The report/transcript should include the graduation date.
  • Submit confirmation that you had submitted the Georgia DOE Home Study Program Declaration of Intent form.
  • Provide verification of lawful presence to qualify for in-state tuition.

Applicants Who Graduated from a Homeschool Outside of Georgia

  • Apply for admission and pay the $30 non-refundable application fee.
  • Submit annual progress reports or a final transcript for the equivalent of the student’s junior and senior years. The report should include the graduation date.
  • Submit ACT, PSAT, or SAT scores or achieve ACCUPLACER placement scores that meet or exceed Technical College System of Georgia minimum score requirements for program readiness.
  • Provide verification of lawful presence to qualify for in-state tuition.

Helpful Hints

  • The enrollment steps described previously are for homeschool graduates who have not yet attended a college or university. If you are a homeschool graduate and have taken college classes, follow the transfer applicant instructions, substituting your homeschool documentation for the high school transcript requirement.
  • Students currently in a homeschool program who wish to take college courses for dual enrollment may be able to do so through our Dual Enrollment program.
  • The financial aid application is separate from the admissions process; visit our Financial Aid web page for more information.
