G.L.O.W. Experiential Learning Program

G.L.O.W. (Growing. Learning. Observing. Working.) is an experiential learning program that helps students connect what they are learning in the classroom with hands-on experience in the workplace. Students can complete an academic-credit-bearing or non-academic-credit-bearing internship. Internships are a vital component of career development.

Please read the G.L.O.W. Experiential Learning Program Agreement.

Virtual or On-Campus Class Visit option:

A great way to connect with current students would be to log in for a virtual class visit. These visits are optimal for demonstrations, Q&As with technicians, and company overviews. If you would like to recruit or host virtual interview sessions on any one of our campuses, please complete the Virtual Recruitment Registration Form. You will be connected with the current class instructors and advisors for assistance.

Note: The first and last two weeks of the semester are not recommended for campus visits. Please check our academic calendar to choose a viable date.

Monthly Newsletter – Swoop Scoop:

We send out a newsletter to all active students on the first Monday of every month during the semester. If you have a flyer or job description, please send it Career.Services@ChattahoocheeTech.edu by 3 pm the Wednesday before to be added.

Program Specific Emails

We will send your flyers and job descriptions directly to the students and alumni in the specified programs. They will also be sent to all relevant instructors and advisors to help get the word out.

Program Advisory Committee

If you are industry representatives who are willing to give their time to serve on our program advisory committees, please feel free to call Dr. Marcy L. Smith at (770) 975-4159 or email at mlsmith@ChattahoocheeTech.edu for more information.

Please get in touch with us at Career.Services@ChattahoocheeTech.edu or Call (770) 529-2388 to discuss how we can assist with your on-campus recruitment needs.
