Condensed C Term courses are 8-week accelerated courses offered during the second half of each full semester. Courses are typically offered March – May in Spring and October – December in Fall.

It is important to review the class schedule before requesting an application as only a limited selection of classes is offered.

I am a new student that has not applied for the Fall semester:

  • New applicants must apply in person at the Marietta, North Metro, Paulding, or Appalachian campus beginning on Monday, August 21st.
  • Application/document deadline: Friday, September 29, 2023, at 1 P.M.

I am a new student that already applied for Fall semester online, but I am still missing items and not yet accepted:

  • New applicants MUST notify their admissions counselor to let them know they are going to attend C term.
  • All missing documents must be received by Friday, September 29, 2023, at 1 P.M.

I am a new or current student that is already admitted and/or registered for Fall semester:

  • Admitted students can register for C term classes beginning on Monday, August 28th.
Accelerated C Term Important Dates:
  • Registration Period: August 28, 2023 – October 8, 2023
  • First Day of Class: October 9, 2023
  • Drop/Add: October 9, 2023 – October 11, 2023
  • Payment Deadline: October 12, 2023 at 1 PM
  • Withdrawal Period: October 23, 2023 – November 22, 2023

What should I expect?

Condensed C Term courses are 8-week accelerated courses. During Accelerated C Term, students can expect 16 weeks of coursework condensed into eight weeks. Courses are offered in several different formats; however, the majority of Accelerated C Term offerings are online.

A list of Accelerated C Term classes can be viewed on the class schedule. The Accelerated C Term class schedule is subject to change, classes may be added or removed throughout the registration period.

How can I apply for admission?

Is financial aid available during Accelerated C Term? How do I apply for financial aid?

Yes, financial aid is available. Students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for financial aid. The Chattahoochee Technical College School Code is 005620.

Does Chattahoochee Technical College offer a waitlist option?

Similar to full-semester courses, Chattahoochee Technical College does not offer a waitlist option. Please continue to check for openings if your desired Accelerated C Term course is closed.

Will I be able to register for a full course load?

The content for Accelerated C Term courses is the same as full semester sixteen-week courses, but Accelerated C Term courses move at a much quicker pace. Due to limited course offerings, it is unlikely that you will have a full course load. When creating your schedule, you should consider factors such as personal obligations and your work schedule. Additionally, you should consider the amount of time required to study and complete assignments for each course.

Am I required to complete orientation?

We know you will have questions and need guidance to begin or resume your collegiate career. After being admitted, the next step to complete is New Student Orientation (NSO). NSO is offered in a convenient online format. While all new students are required to complete an NSO session before enrolling in courses, NSO is also recommended for returning students.
