According to federal regulations, students must maintain satisfactory academic progress in their course of study to continue receiving Federal Title IV financial aid. Federal Title IV financial aid includes the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), and Federal Work Study (FWS).
Any state administered financial aid programs (i.e. HOPE/Zell Grant, HOPE/Zell Scholarship, HERO, Public Safety Memorial Grant, and Law Enforcement Personnel Grant) follow the same requirements.
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) includes several standards: qualitative, quantitative, and maximum time frame. Students must meet all three standards to continue receiving financial aid. It is the responsibility of the student to be aware of SAP standards and his or her respective status. Click on the link below to read the complete SAP Policy.

- Click Student Services & Financial Aid.
- Click Financial Aid.
- Click Financial Aid Status.
- Select the Current Aid Year (i.e., July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018)
- Click Submit.

Note: Deadline for submitting appeals for Fall Semester’s first SAP appeal review is August 13, 2018. Deadline for submitting appeals for Fall Semester’s last SAP appeal review is October 15, 2018. Appeals received after October 15, will be reviewed for the beginning of Spring Semester 2019.
