Medical Administrative Assistants love working with people. They’re energetic, involved, and key employees in a variety of health care settings. They may update and file patients’ medical records, fill out insurance forms, and arrange for hospital admissions and laboratory services.
The Medical Administrative Assistant program gives students a well-rounded introduction to the many features and functions of the modern medical office or health care facility. Graduates of the Medical Administrative Assistant program are eligible to take the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant exam through the American Medical Technologists (AMT) organization.
