Presented by GA Student Finance – The Financial Aid process can be challenging for many. This webinar is designed to give you a clearer understanding of the Financial Aid process. Join us as we highlight the process for students to gain funding for their post-secondary education.  We will clearly define financial aid, explain each type, and the different sources. By the end of the webinar, you will understand how to apply for aid, and be able to make informed financial aid decisions.

Presented by Jonathan Looney, Director of Relationship Management with Sallie Mae – Scholarships can be a huge help to college students and their families, but many don’t know where to find them, or how to apply. During this session students will learn key tips on applying for scholarships, how to create a winning scholarship essay, and more.

Credit: The Ups and Downs
Presented by GA Student Finance – The word ‘credit’ has many meanings; this webinar will focus on the meaning referring to borrowing, specifically on the credit report and score. The credit score is consistently moving up and down and you can learn why. Learn how credit history can affect many parts of a borrower’s life, how to protect it and what steps to take if a victim of identity theft.

Want to learn more about how to get state aid when you don’t have parent information for the FAFSA?  Join us for an informative session about all things state aid.

Complete the Financial Aid based crossword puzzle that was emailed to your student email on February 2nd, 2024 for a chance to win a $250 gift card to the Chatt Tech bookstore. Deadline for submission is February 23rd at 11:59 PM. Crossword puzzle must be accurate to be considered for the drawing. Eligible recipient must be current Chatt Tech student.
