Steps for Commencement Registration

To participate in the Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony, students MUST complete the following steps:

  1. Submit your petition to graduate. Students must be a Spring or Summer graduate to participate.
    • Completing the petition doesn’t automatically register you for the ceremony. This allows us to audit your record for eligibility.
  2. Review the Information for Graduates
    • This includes ceremony information along with cap/gown ordering.
  3. Register for Commencement by Friday, May 1st at 5:00 PM.
    • Registration is first come, first serve. Once a timeslot fills up, it will be closed.
  4. Pay the $40 non-refundable commencement ceremony fee in your me@ChattTech Student Portal.
    • Locate the Student Accounts card and click on “Pay My Bill”. Select your term in the drop-down box and follow the steps to submit payment.
  5. Order your black cap/gown set using the information found in step 2.
  6. Invite up to 4 guests to attend your ceremony
    • Guest tickets are not required.

All students that register for Spring Commencement will receive a confirmation email with next steps and payment information.   One week before the ceremony, a final reminder will be sent with additional details and arrival times
