Student Registration Information and Steps

All student registration (add/drop/withdraw) is now accessible in your me@ChattTech Student Portal

For a step by step guide to registration, please use our How-To Guide:

Term Definitions:

  • A Term: Full term courses. 16 weeks during Spring/Fall. 8 weeks during Summer.
  • B Term: First 8 week mini term. Spring/Fall only.
  • C Term: Second 8 week mini term. Begins when B Term ends. Spring/Fall only.

Registration Periods:

Early Registration:

The first registration period for the term is considered early registration for all students.

Early registration payment deadline information: At the conclusion of early registration, there is a tuition and fees payment deadline. All tuition and fees must be paid (by financial aid, you, or a third party) by this deadline or your classes will be dropped. Students who are dropped from their courses will also incur a 3-business-day registration hold before being allowed to re-register.

Final Registration

Final registration opens after the Early Registration payment deadline. You are strongly encouraged not to wait until final registration, as many classes will already be filled. If you were unable to find space in a desired class during early registration, you will want to review those classes again as soon as final registration begins due to the possibility of seats coming available from students being dropped for non-payment.

Final registration payment deadline information: At the conclusion of Final registration, there is a tuition and fees payment deadline. All tuition and fees must be paid (by financial aid, you, or a third party) by this deadline or your classes will be dropped. Students who are dropped from their courses will be able to re-register during the Drop/Add period and will incur a late fee.

 Late Registration – Drop/Add

Once the semester begins, the first few days (Monday-Saturday: Spring/Fall, Monday-Wednesday: Summer) of the semester is available for Drop/Add. You may freely drop and add courses as you wish, but take care not to drop a class without knowing you can enter another. At this late date, if you drop a class and cannot add (primarily due to no seats being available), you may not be able to re-enter the class you just dropped due to someone else already taking the seat.

Note: If you have not registered prior to the Drop/Add period (or were dropped for non-payment or any other reason), but are still eligible to register, you may do so; however, a late fee will apply for any “new” registration at this time.

Late registration payment deadline information: At the conclusion of Drop/Add, there is a tuition and fees payment deadline. All tuition and fees must be paid (by financial aid, you, or a third party) by this deadline or your classes will be dropped. Students will be unable to add any courses after this payment drop.
