Jennifer Nelson

Jennifer Nelson, Vice President of Advancement

For most of her 18 years in technical college education, Nelson has been responsible for marketing, public relations, student recruitment, fundraising and community engagement functions. She had the opportunity to serve as Vice President of Student Affairs from 2017 – 2019.  She attributes that experience has helping her learn more about the resource and academic needs of Chatt Tech students and who that supports impact student success. “Working in Student Affairs has made me a better marketer and fundraiser,” says Jennifer “and inspired to me find more support for our amazing students.”

Amanda Henderson

Amanda Henderson, Advancement Coordinator

Amanda Henderson has been with the Foundation team at Chattahoochee Tech since March 2014. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of West Georgia and has previous nonprofit experience. Amanda is responsible for the daily management of the Foundation’s constituent database, administration of donor acknowledgements and correspondence, as well as prospect research. Her interactions with students, faculty, and staff are part of what inspires her in her role at the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation. “Being able to help students through scholarships and emergency grants is very rewarding,” Amanda says.
