
Chattahoochee Technical College Celebrates Spring 2026 Graduates at Commencement Ceremonies
Chattahoochee Technical College proudly celebrated the accomplishments of its Spring 2026 graduates during commencement ceremonies held May 13 and May 14. The ceremonies recognized student achievement across a broad range of academic programs while highlighting the college’s role in preparing a skilled and competitive workforce.
More than 1000 individual students have petitioned to graduate in Spring 2026. These graduates represent greater than 1600 awards, reflecting the many students earning multiple credentials, including associate degrees, diplomas, and technical certificates. There were 525 graduates who participated in the commencement celebrations, marking an important milestone in their academic journeys.
“We are honored to celebrate the perseverance and success of our graduates,” said Heather Pence, President of Chattahoochee Tech. “Their hard work and determination reflect the mission of Chattahoochee Technical College—to provide accessible, high-quality education that leads directly to career opportunities.”
This year’s commencement address was delivered by Khaana Cheatham, Chattahoochee Tech’s 2026 Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) Student of the Year. Cheatham shared an inspiring address that reflected on personal growth, resilience, and the transformative power of technical education.
The Spring 2026 graduating class showcased the diversity and strength of the college’s student population. Some of the greatest number of students completed courses of study in Business Management, Interdisciplinary Studies, Early Childhood Care & Education, Nurse Aide, and Accounting & CIST Cybersecurity. Students who participated in Dual Enrollment and Dual Achievement programs were also honored. Graduates hailed from communities across Chattahoochee Tech’s six-county service area (Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, Gilmer, Paulding, Pickens) as well as the greater Metro Atlanta region and beyond.
