Chattahoochee Technical College Earns Silver Certification in Cobb Chamber & SelectCobb's Employer Excellence Program
Chattahoochee Technical College announces it has earned a Silver Level Certification through the Cobb Chamber and SelectCobb's 2026 Employer Excellence Certification program, recognizing the college's commitment to building an exceptional workplace for its employees.
The Employer Excellence Certification program, launched in early 2026, gives Cobb County employers a new way to highlight and promote their workplaces to new and existing talent. Each applicant was evaluated by a committee of human resource experts against a comprehensive rubric spanning seven categories: Workplace Flexibility & Work-Life Integration, Employee Engagement, Employee Development, Health, Well-Being & Safety, Compensation & Financial Well-Being, Company Civility & Culture, and Community & Employee Impact.

Founded in 1963, Chattahoochee Technical College is one of Georgia's largest technical colleges, serving students across six counties through nine campus locations. In Cobb County, the college operates the Marietta, Austell, and Mountain View campuses, providing residents and employers with a direct pipeline to a skilled workforce through programs in healthcare, information technology, advanced manufacturing, business, skilled trades, and other high-demand fields. With approximately 520 full-time and 510 part-time employees, Chattahoochee Tech plays a vital role in meeting the educational and workforce development needs of Cobb County and northwest Georgia while helping thousands of students each year prepare for meaningful careers and continued educational success.
