Medical Laboratory Technician

The Medical Laboratory Technology Program develops a future-ready workforce by integrating advanced diagnostics, digital technologies, and interdisciplinary training—empowering graduates to lead innovation in laboratory medicine and improve global health outcomes.

The program emphasizes a combination of didactic and clinical instruction necessary for successful employment. Both didactic and clinical instruction includes Clinical Chemistry, Hematology/Hemostasis, Immunology, Immunohematology/Transfusion medicine, Microbiology, Urine and Body Fluid Analysis, and Laboratory Operations.

Medical Laboratory Technician occupational courses will be completed in five (5) semesters.

The Clinical Laboratory Technology program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS), 5600 N. River Road, Suite 720, Rosemont IL 60018, 773-714- 8880www.naacls.org.
