Clinical Laboratory Assistant

The Clinical Laboratory Assistant (Phlebotomy) program expands upon Phlebotomy skills to provide essential laboratory skills needed for today’s outpatient clinics, physician offices, urgent care centers, and diagnostic laboratories.  The program is designed to be completed in two (2) semesters or less, depending on Phlebotomy Certification.

Graduates of the Clinical Laboratory Assistant program are competent in collecting and performing waived laboratory testing.  The graduates are eligible to sit for the Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification through the American Medical Technologists.
