Central Sterile Supply Processing Technician (CSSP)

Sterile Processing within a healthcare facility plays a crucial link in the chain of care from professional treatment to patient care. Central Sterile Supply Processing Technicians ensure every instrument is properly decontaminated, sterilized, well-functioning, and available. Clinical experience at a hospital is a vital part of the CSSP student’s educational experience.

Endoscope Reprocessing Technician

Today’s healthcare environment relies on more than basic instruments for patient care. Complex devices such as flexible, semi-rigid, and rigid endoscopes are used in many medical procedures. These devices require special handling and detailed reprocessing steps per the manufacture’s instruction and standards. Clinical rotation at a hospital is a vital part of the Endoscope Reprocessing student’s educational experience.

CSSP occupational courses will be completed in two (2) semesters. CSSP / Endoscope Reprocessing Technician graduates are eligible to sit for 2 national certification examinations.
