Cost of Attendance

The Cost of Attendance (COA) is a term specified by Section 472 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA) that indicates an estimate of your total educational expenses for the time of attendance during the Award Year and is represented on your financial aid award. The COA is determined by in-state or out-of-state residency and whether you are an Independent or Dependent student at Chattahoochee Tech. The COA is based on full-time enrollment for the fall, spring, and summer terms and includes the direct costs of tuition and fees, plus the indirect estimated cost of housing and food; books, course materials, supplies, and equipment; transportation; and miscellaneous living expenses.
Note: Please keep in mind that these figures are based on enrollment in 12 credit hours. If you are enrolled in less than 12 hours, your COA will be calculated based on those hours.
