Effective May 1, 2018, there is no restriction on the number of times a Chattahoochee Technical College applicant may retake the ACCUPLACER placement test. Retesting for current students is permitted when students are referred by a learning support instructor or associate dean, when placement test scores expire, or when necessitated by a program of study change. Per CTC policy, placement scores are valid for five years from the test date.
In order to satisfy the testing requirement for admission, an applicant must meet or exceed the minimum scores for their chosen program of study. Applicants who do not meet or exceed the minimum score for admission into their selected program will be required to retest in the appropriate area(s).
In order to retest, testers must wait until the next calendar day and pay a $15 retesting fee.
