Reliable Heating & Air Donates Equipment and Tools for Air Conditioning Technology Program

Reliable Heating & Air donated HVAC equipment and tools valued at over $3,000 to Chattahoochee Tech for the college’s Air Conditioning Technology program.

Making the presentation on behalf of the company was Daniel Jape, of Cherokee County, who serves as president of Reliable Heating & Air. Jape also serves as a member of the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation Board of Trustees, having joined the board in August. This donation included wireless refrigerant charging scales and recovery units as well as a mechanical vacuum pump. Reliable Heating & Air also donated assorted tools, which included flaring and cutter tools, and two-valve brass manifold gauge sets.

“This equipment and these tools will be extremely helpful to the Air Conditioning Technology program at Chattahoochee Tech,” said instructor Tommy Grizzle. “Our program involves in-depth, hands-on training, which places a lot of wear and tear on our training equipment and tools. Having partners like Reliable Heating & Air provide donations like this is essential to keeping our programs up and running, and on the cutting edge.”
