Fitness Classes

Fitness Classes are free to all students, faculty and staff.

Fitness & Yoga Classes at Marietta Campus

Classes will start Feb. 11, 2019, and end the week of March 21.

  • Monday: 12 noon to 1 p.m., Yoga, C1102
  • Monday: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., Yoga, C1102
  • Tuesday: 12 noon to 1 p.m., Fitness Class, Bldg. K
  • Wednesday: 12 noon to 1 p.m., Yoga, C1102
  • Wednesday: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., Yoga, C1102
  • Thursday: 12 noon to 1 p.m., Fitness Class, Bldg. K

Fitness Class Descriptions

Functional Fitness: Exercises that train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work, or in sports. Functional fitness exercises also emphasize core stability. (video coming soon)

African Dance: ASA is a West African Inspired Dance Fitness Class geared to have its participants have fun while dancing and simultaneously getting a full body tone & cardio exercise!

Yoga: Yoga is a Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation.

HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training. This is a class that is high intensity with intense burst of exercises followed by recovery. This helps build cardiovascular endurance while improving strength while burning the maximum amount of calories.
