Chattahoochee Tech Instructor Stephanie Puffer Receives Outstanding Teacher Award

The Cobb Chamber of Commerce presented Stephanie Puffer of Chattahoochee Technical College with a Teacher of the Year award at a teacher appreciation event hosted by the Chamber on Tuesday, Oct. 29, in Marietta.

The Cobb Chamber’s annual “Give Our Schools a Hand” teacher appreciation event honors deserving teachers from Cobb County, Marietta City and post-secondary education systems. This salute to public education is designed to show appreciation for teachers in the community, according to the Cobb Chamber, and to encourage area businesses, parents and civic groups to take an active role in enhancing the quality of education.

Puffer serves as program director for the Chattahoochee Tech Physical Therapist Assistant program, which is located at the college’s North Metro Campus. She received the college’s Rick Perkins Instructor of the Year award in January 2019 for excellence in education.
