Chattahoochee Tech hosted an Industrial Maintenance Job Fair at the North Metro Campus Tuesday, Sept. 17, which was well attended by Chattahoochee Tech students and alumni.
Numerous local companies were represented at this event, according to Chattahoochee Tech Career Services Specialist Michael Payne. Included among these companies were: Anheuser-Busch; CKS Packaging Inc; Constellium Automotive; Doehler North America; Imerys; Inalfa Roof Systems; JBS; Novo Health Services; Pilgrims; Shaw Industries; Toyo Tires North America; Universal Alloy Corporation; Voestalpine Automotive Components and Vulcan Materials Company.
Chattahoochee Tech student Quentin Gillespie, of Cobb County, said the event was a great opportunity to interact with a diverse group of potential employers. Gillespie, who is pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree in Industrial Maintenance, said he plans to graduate in May 2020. “Chattahoochee Tech is affordable, and has everything I need right here,” said Gillespie. “It just makes sense to go to school here.”
