Career assessments can provide you with a more realistic appraisal of yourself. They will help you clarify your values, interests, skills, and activities that interest you. Assessments are used to narrow down career options and help you know where to begin your career exploration.

TypeFocus – An online career development program that will assess your personality, interests and values so you can choose careers that match your natural strengths.

You may use TypeFocus as often as you wish anywhere, anytime (24/7) on any PC or MAC. You must complete an entire assessment for TypeFocus to save your results. There are three (3) assessments.

Virtual Job Shadow – VirtualJobShadow.com is a one-stop, multimedia career planning resource that helps at every stage, from career exploration to landing a job. Experience what it’s like to job shadow at top companies, build a resume, find jobs and internships in your career field, and more.

Interest Assessment – The O*Net Interest Profiler can help you find out what your interests are and how they relate to the world of work. You can find out what you like to do.

My Skills (O*Net) – This skills search function is designed to help you use your skill set to identify occupations for exploration.

Jung Typology Test – is a series of analytical questions that will aid you in your career search.
