Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal for Financial Aid Reinstatement

Federal regulations require the Office of Student Financial Aid to monitor the academic progress towards completing a program of study for students receiving financial aid. For this reason, your Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) for financial aid is calculated at the end of each term to verify that you have met all federal SAP standards. If you have failed to meet the SAP standards and feel you have mitigating circumstances, you may complete this appeal form and provide substantiating documentation. If you are required to complete Part 1 and 2 of this appeal form and do not provide substantiating documentation, your appeal will automatically be denied. If the Financial Aid Appeals Committee approves your appeal, you will be required to accept the Terms and Conditions of the appeal via CTC student email before funds are applied to your account.
Documentation is required if you completed Part 1 and 2. Please do not include transcripts as supporting documentation.
