Once you have been accepted to CTC, you will need to schedule an advisement and registration appointment. This session will last approximately two (2) hours and will include information sharing as well as directions and assistance with registering for your classes. Because of space issues, children and guests are not allowed in the sessions. All new students (who have been accepted) should make an advisement appointment as soon as they receive their acceptance letter.
Connect is Chattahoochee Technical College’s traditional new student orientation program held annually in the summer. This year, Connect will be held on Friday, July 11, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on the North Metro campus of CTC. Connect is open to all fall applicants and is highly encouraged for all new students. The half-day event will provide students with the necessary information for a successful transition into college life. Students and their supporters will hear presentations about Student Financial Services, including financial aid information, and student success. Additionally, presentations will be given from each of CTC’s academic departments.
As an added bonus, students who RSVP by June 20 and who attend the day’s events will be given a $100 voucher for textbook rental from the college bookstore.
