They need volunteers to divert sidewalk rainwater runoff away from building and grounds by installing a French drain at the bottom the bank below North Johnston Street. They need help with digitizing records and journals, and indexing them for public viewing on the internet. They also have already digitized several old journals that are ready to be indexed. They need help putting together data and items for new exhibits. and would like an exhibit to walk visitors through the history of Paulding County that starts with native local inhabitants, then pioneers, and so on. This exhibit should include historical milestones, social life, home life, and ways to make a living; the industries that have been important to Paulding County, such as agriculture, the textile industry, and railroads. Also, they need an exhibit to display the history of transportation with a focus on the Silver Comet train and Seaboard Air Line Railroad and would like to display a model of the railroads and trains. They are flexible with the dates.

Founded as a not-for-profit organization in 2006 by Charlotte Foster, SIDEWAYS was created to inspire change and present social and political opinions through dance. Through performances across the southeast, SIDEWAYS repertory has received impressive feedback from dance choreographers: Ann Reinking (Fosse – the musical), Steve Rooks (Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre), Wendy Perron (Dance Magazine), and Mia Michaels (So You Think You Can Dance).
