Anyone who works in the mining industry, including contractors working on a mine property, is considered a “miner” under the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977. The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) operates under the authority of this Act. The United States Congress created MSHA to help reduce fatalities, injuries and illnesses among miners in our nation’s mines through a variety of activities, including on-site mine safety and health training.
We have been a recognized leader in mine safety training since 1986, and our training program exceeds the requirements of Part 46 and Part 48 for mine safety and health training. We are committed to providing mining companies, miners, and contractors with the highest quality training and with a superior level of service at the best possible price.
