BLS (Basic Life Support) For Healthcare Providers (2010 Guidelines) $60
This classroom course delivers training to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. For those seeking initial or renewal training that provides a BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card.
***Initial Course is 4.5 hours; Renewal Course is 4 hours

NOTE: We have scheduled our FIRST class for 2014: Thursday, February 27, at the North Metro campus from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
This course will provide attendees with the knowledge and skills required to teach courses for BLS for Healthcare Providers, HeartSaver First Aid, HeartSaver CPR with AED and all other HeartSaver courses. Attendees must either be in the Healthcare Field and carry a current 2010 Guidelines BLS for Healthcare Provider certification card or if not in the Healthcare Field, must carry BOTH a 2010 Guidelines BLS for Healthcare Provider card and a 2010 Guideline HeartSaver First Aid certification card. Attendees must also complete the online AHA BLS Instructor Essentials course prior to attending class. This course can be purchased through one of our vendors. You must bring this certificate with you to class. After completion of the instructor course, participants must choose from 2 dates to be monitored teaching a course. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
This course emphasizes the importance of basic life support (BLS), integration of effective BLS with ACLS interventions, and effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.The course is for professionals who respond to cardiovascular emergencies and require an initial or renewal ACLS Provider Course Completion Card.
***Initial Course: 10-12 hours; Renewal Course is 5-6 hours
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
This course uses a scenario-based, team approach to teach pediatric emergency respiratory management or cardiac arrest. The PALS course is for healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies, and for first-time or renewal training to obtain a PALS course completion card.
