The most critical period of a child’s life is the first five years. Early childhood teaching is a fast-paced, diverse career with classroom practices based on cutting-edge research about how children develop and learn. Graduates from the Early Childhood Care and Education program work collaboratively with young children and families in a variety of settings: public and private schools, child development centers, Pre-K programs, family child care homes, and as owners and administrators of their own child development programs. Whether you’re interested in owning or directing your own program, working as an infant/toddler specialist, specializing in children with special needs, or becoming a paraprofessional working with young children from birth through eight years of age, Chattahoochee Tech has a program that is just right for you.
